HELP! Just dyno my car!
umm......
not sure if you mean wait until the mods are more complete/increased....... but a good tune is paramount with mods on any z. the whole n/a vs f/i debate is simple:
n/a= substantially lower peak numbers, ultimately costing you more than bolt-ons and tune because to really get 300+ n/a you'll have to do some internals/cams etc
f/i= much higher numbers, again, about the same as all the bolt ons you can throw onto an n/a z.

i hear what your saying, makes sense. not to bust your bubble or anything, but that dyno chart you posted is uncorrected. 344 on an n/a with bolt ons and no internals or even headwork? you'd be the first one.
Actually im not . There are alot of G37 guys and HR 350z pushing over 300 hp
Fernando, you should of asked me what my stock numbers were with my 2006 AT while we were standing there talking Saturday at UnNatural.
I would of told you your numbers are good for an '03 AT.
My '06 that came with a higher bhp from the factory (287bhp) and only pulled a 213whp when I put it on the dyno the first time, bone stock.
The '03 AT bone stock should be even lower then that.
The AT's really hurt the WHP, but I got mine because I planned on putting N20 on, and it is safer to do it on the AT.
Even the N20 kits all recommend that you use an AT. Less chance of missing a shift and hitting the rev-limiter while under full throttle.
Your Z is a good looking car. I really liked your wheels.

seen a few g37's over 300, but that's a different engine, more displacement etc, so that's a really bad comparison. don't know too many z's (350's) that are over 300 without some internals and headwork, and i've seen them with every bolt on out there. i have an 05 anniversary with the rev-up, cobb a/p with 3 custom tunes on it done at cobb in slc ut, stillen hedders, random hfc's, hks hi power, injen intake, z-1 plenum spacer, hellix tb spacer, jwt clutch/flywheel combo, 75 shot wet kit, nrg catch can, stillen engine dampner, and mine only get's 293 @ the wheels on all motor, 342 with the spray. (that was on cobbs dyno, so i realize the elevation comes into play, but the elevation doesn't give up 50whp. do you have any other dyno's on your car? you running smaller wheel/tire combo on the dyno? very curious about this....... info please. thanks.

Yeah i should have asked but didnt think till after my 3 hour drive back home. I started to think and became unhappy with my numbers. I see how much WHP you lose Vs. 6speed. I maybe consider a trade. But i love my car. Just need to save a lot more cash if i want to see this number higher. Thanks for your input.
