Red Porsche 914
I am selling my beloved red Porsche 914. Bought 4 years ago with the intent to creat a super nice sports car I have found no time to work on it. Currently the Porsche engine and transmission are out of the car. The transmission has been completely rebuilt but the engine still needs to be rebuilt. This is a MID ENGINED sports car with a removable roof and is in excellent condition.

Yeah - I know someone is going to have a lot of fun driving it. I keep thinking that I'm going to look back years later and wish I had not sold this car - but I need the money to pay towards some debts.....
You car kind of reminds me of my 1970 914. I have regretted selling that car several times and I wish I still had it. The problem is I sold it in 1972 so it has been gone for many years. It was definitely a fun car to drive.
Wow nice, thats gonna be a fun project for someone, I see a widebody kit and a 911 turbo motor in it
Actually I had this friend that owned the Gold's guy in Tri-Cities his name was Dan Hanche. He and his brother Scott were the soul manufacturers of the only widebody kit that you saw in magazines back in the Day before teh interwebs... There are lots (well a few) of those running around eastern Washington.

Oh cool! You still have a photo of your 914 taken back in 1972? Wow! That was new then and I bet you were one of the few to even have that car!
My thoughts exactly Wasuber! The wide body kit looks really cool on these cars. The mid-engine compartment has room to fit a wide range of engines - I understand people are replacing the 1.7 Porsche engine with a small block V6 engine - lots of hoursepower for a great handeling car. I got to see several 914s racing on the track at this last weekends' Historic races at P.I.R. With hopped up engines these cars are really fast on the track !!
