Default Local Nissan Dealership........Olympia Nissan to be Specific!!!!

Before I start raising hell with Nissan Corporate, I thought I would take a little poll of the local community and see if anyone has had the pleasure (LOL, MISFORTUNE!!!) of dealing with Olympia Nissan thus far??? Just to catch you guys up a little. I am the proud owner of a 2008 Nismo #0760 that to this date I have nothing but good things to say about it minus a few problems that other dealers in the area have taken care of for me. I bought the car originally from Olympia Nissan and have had a few experiences with them so far. Its amazing to see from a first hand experience that Tacoma Nissan and Olympia Nissan are owned by the same Auto Group. Tacoma Nissan has nothing but incredible customer service!!! Their service department is top notch!!! Two times now they have picked up the slack that Olympia Nissan created. For example, This last Friday I called ahead before making my 2.5 hour drive from Westport, WA to my closest Nissan Dealer( the same dealer I purchased my Nismo at have you) to have a problem with my alignment corrected. I explained to Bruce (the service advisor....yeah right what a ****ing joke that is) that my driver rear wheel was tilted in about 3 inches and the passenger side was straight up and down. Well Bruce with his years of expeet knowledge and experience proceeded to explain to me how this was normal and I should not worry about it. (Now the frenzy of ******** flags begin to fly) I explain to Bruce this is not acceptable since everytime I proceed to give the car a little throttle and it begins to break traction the rear end begins to violently jump up and down. Who would feel this is normal??? Bruce again assures me this is normal for a 350Z but if I would like to have it checked out then please bring the car in today as soon as I can. Great, I drive my little happy *** and my Nismo 2.5 hours to reach Olympia Nissan to have Bruce in the Service Department tell me he is too backed up and he cannot look at the car today. Needless to say, I am ****ing hot now!!! To make a long story short, Tacome Nissan came to my rescue and made a spot to fit me in when they wee completely booked up on a Friday afternoon with absolutely no advance notice. The tech found my driver rear wheel to be over 5 degrees out and corrected everything. Kudo's to Tacoma Nissan...........Booooooo to Olympia Nissan!!!! Not only was I fed full of BS on the purchase of the car but every experience I have had with them afterwards has been grueling. So........before I start making phone calls to Nissan Corporate and Mr. Bruce Titus about the experience I have had with his Olympia store does anyone else have anything to offer for experiences that should be shared as well??? Thats my rant, I feel better now...LOL!!!

Don't you love it when they pull the "that's normal" card?

I imagine it's warranty work, but damn, I would rather just take it to a local shop I trust.

yeah, the 'that's normal' card is ridiculous, especially for the issue he described.. :[

wheel hop is normal in any IRS car when you start to lose traction, however alignment being that far off (if it really is a full 3 inches) is not normal...

Is this the same Bruce Titus Tacoma Nissan /Subaru off of South Tacoma Way that you praise?

" 3838 South Tacoma Way "

I was noticing that my rear tires are wearing more on the inside than on the outside....this is only with a bit over 15K miles.
Bumpin'Jeep thinks I might have the feathering issue...I asked at Tac Nissan and got, " That's normal for the 350 Z and the way the sport suspension is set up, and the summer tires wear out very fast. "

Is it normal wear after 15K or so? The front tires look fine and are straight up. The rears tilt in more than I remember and are almost out of tread on the insides. I have 17K miles to date. If it is feathering, how do I prove it to them to get them to fix it?

I have an 06 but my rear tires wear evenly but I must say my stock tires lasted about 20k and my aftermarket tires only lasted 22k. I'm sure if you take it in they can tell you if your alignment is out of stock range, which i think it is.

Bad experience here too, Recently had my belts changed there a couple of months ago, tech did not screw the a/c nut/bolt back on properly, causing my a/c belt to fall off. resulting in loss of a/c and potential hazard of other belts falling off. Causing me to miss the Bremerton event, FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. About $400 later it's fixed through a private shop.

crazy... i've had good experiences with them.... Last time I went in for a recall check on my altima, and they let me test drive the 370.. They also did my ATF on the G, and they not only did that. But they also fixed a small leak in one of the lines at no cost to me... Sorry about your experience'

I forgot to mention when I was having warranty work done on the Nismo (I received the free lifetime oil changes with the car when I bought it from them is why I allowed this to happen...DUMB!!!) I had them change the oil on the car for the first time. It took me over an hour of work after they were done to scrub the greasy/oily hand print out of my seat, had to degrease the door panel and handle, degrease the windshield from the had print involved with putting the new mileage sticker up there, and buff the scratches out of the top of the fender from where something was drug across it during this whole pitiful evolution. I have one last Repair Order open with then (they are replacing the front bumper on my Nismo due to a stress crack in the corner) and after this one is finished then I will never be back to them. I will drive the extra 40 minutes to Tacoma or Fife to deal with a better service department. If there really are this many bad experiences with them then maybe we should all call Nissan Corporate and let them know our thoughts and experiences.

If you go back, speak to Jason (assistant service manager) he bent over backwards trying to accomodate me and to leave me with a better experience than I received at the Bruce Titus Olympia Nissan store. He ever directed me to who I needed to be speaking to about them since I wasnt the first person that had problems with then already the same day. Plus they let me spend time in a 2009 370 Nismo while I was there..... After spending some time in it, I am more happy with my 350 Nismo. The new ones arent even a numbered car anymore.......

I bought my '04 Z from Tacoma Nissan about a month ago. To make the deal, the salesman made a cut on his commission. They got the car from a Arizona auction. After I bought it, I realized the windshield was ruin by sand storms. They replaced it, put a new motor for the driver's window and some other little things at no cost. Jason in the serious dept. is awesome. This is my first time buying a car from Tacoma Nissan and I'm very happen with their service.

I would call Bruce Titus and give him an ear full. **** poor service from Oly shop.
