Honda Ruckus Group Buy
$2,500 out the door
it was either between the ruckus or a new set of wheels (would have been my 6th set)
best investment i've made all year! put 60 miles on it and the gas light still hasn't turned on yet. dealer told me it would still get ~20 more miles if the gas light is on. i recommend buying a used one if you're planning on doing a motor swap. i wish i bought a used one...

good luck with looking for a white one. it only came out in 2007, so it's super rare. it's easy to take the frame apart and just have it powdercoated. i'm planning on doing a motor swap next summer (need to save up a bit more) because there are way too many hills in bellevue
so what is going to be your first mod? what typr of swap are you going to do? are you going to do a 2 stroke swap or a 150cc swap? or are you planning to do a big bore on the 150cc? just be prepared to spend a lot of money on the swap. i know i have.

^agree, that's one bad *** ruckus. i'll have something similar but not as much cc. i'm thinking of just the stock gy6 swap. 150cc is plenty for me. if i wanna go fast i'll hop in my car. good thing ruckus' are cheap to mod (minus the pw:jdm stuff), lol. my budget is probably around $2k...

the GY6 150cc motor and engine mount and wire harness will run you pretty close to $2k. but that is if you find a good price on a motor. for me i have spent about $1500 with GY6, engine mount, and harness. you also might want to purchase a new variator, slider weights, cdi, and new coil. you should be able to pull hard off the line and get pretty good top speed. that is what i suggest to you
. you can also do the mod slowly. you don't have to do it all at the same time. oh forgot to mention that i strongly suggest upgrading your front drum brakes to disc brakes. you will definitely need that stopping power.
