I'll try my best, but it will be incredibly difficult.

no drifting

they don't want the track to get torn up so that it can still be used for karting. but then again, the track owners hosted a drift demo day...

if you drift though, you'll just be getting in everyone's way cause you'll be going to slow, so that'll prolly **** some people off...

My signing up for this event is pending on if I can get tires. Dunno if I have enough rubber to last a whole day on the set I have on now. Plus they're heat cycled pretty significantly. I dunno if any amount of heat would bring 'em back to grippy.

I reckon if I could get a decent set of track R-comps I could shave 2 seconds easy on my times. That would put me on par w/ the fastest of the S2ks that were also running R-comps.

Here's some vids form this past Monday

- Some Laps

- Cars coming off the track

- The first 5 minutes of my last session (I think my fast time of 1:17.3 was on the 3rd or 4th lap)

What size tires do you need? I have 4x 225/40/18's Kumho Ecstas & 4x 245/35/19's Toyo T1S you may borrow a couple of them if you need to?

Ahh Eric.. you're quite a guy! Thanks for offering, I appreciate it.

My current set of tires that I use for autoX and track are RT-615's 275/40-17 (Yeah, I went down to 17's to keep cost down). I'm running square so I can get all of 'em to cord at the same time.

I have an set of Falken FK452's (275/35-18 & 275/40-18) that I could use, but I really want a to run a set of track appropriate R-Comps for this upcoming event; a R888 or a NT01. But right now the prices for the sizes I want (275/35-18 & 305/35-18 var.) are too much $ for me to shell out. The worse I could do is try running these RT-615's to the cords at the next event. But it may not be worth it cuz I'll most likely be slower than the last event.

speaking of shaving time, i thought of a trick that might be worth something. if i had to guess, i'd say .2-.5 sec...

and come on, i'm running on 225/245 street tires, it won't be the end of the world to run on your falkens... unless your scared i'll be faster with my bicycle width tires... thats right, i'm calling you out
