Seattle, Wa - Things to see / do
LOL! I guess compared to Tacoma... well, it's all relative.
I've lived and worked in Seattle most of my life, and in all honesty, the place has turned into a bit of a dump. Roads conditions are embarrassing, graffiti is everywhere, trash is all over the place. There are rat issues, and the number of bums and panhandlers have gotten out of control. It has a lot to do with Seattle's kinder, gentler and more liberal treatment of chronic public inebriates, gang members and drug dealers. I know this because my profession requires me to be in contact with the less fortunate elements of Seattle society on a daily basis.
I guess after having been to Perth, Australia and Singapore, pretty much any city comes across as a dump.
