What were you using to polish the plenum so far?

I started with 120 grit wet sandpaper and worked up to 240...

And yesterday worked up to 1000-grit, then some polishing compound. It still needs to be machine polished, there are still pits that need to be sanded out.

But hey, it's a partially polished plenum for $70.

not to knock your work, but if you've only gotten to 240, then its far from being close to done, You will need to work up to at least 1000grit, then you'll have to hit it with a polishing wheel and various rouge compounds before final polishing with a metal polish

Still worth $70 for someone to finish =D I'll knock my own work, the thread states 'partially polished, you finish'
