Default May sell my Z

I have an 06 touring with 8006 miles. Excelent condition. Pop charger and Fast Intentions cat back. Datona blue. Clear title, original air box and exhaust. If I decide to sell it, what could I realisticly expect to get for it? Thanks, Ernie-Seattle.

firstly, go back to stock and sell your pop charger (not worth much) and your exhaust.

I imagine a stock 06 with that low of miles could be worth more then 16k as previously guessed. that is practically a new car.

unfortunately, what you have to compete against, is that an 07 HR engine Z can be had for 17-18k these days - you may struggle to achieve that price range if the buyer is savvy.

but lets face it, the general public buys cars without researching their options.

honestly kbb is garbage and seems slightly inflated. there is a reason dealers love people going off of kbb and feeling informed.

while I say that, I still think an 06 z with that low of mileage should be worth more then what even kbb suggests

i had my car up on autotrader for 18-20k (varied) from 25k to 30k miles, about 3 months and it didn't sell, mine is 07. so i gave up and did some mods to my car and raised the price to 25k. i have the run till it sells ad, so when i decide to sell my car, i'll just lower the price again... but you prolly won't get 18k for your car. not trying to be an *** or anything, just letting you know whats out there.

now's a hard time to try and sell a car... great time to buy though...

eric you know how tastefully modded and immaculate your car was, and you sold it to someone who understood and appreciated the value of all that : )

With half of the crap people say on here you would think your car is worth like $6,000.

You can always see what a dealer will pay for it but jan isn't the best month to sell a z. If the z hasn't been in any accidents you should be able to get pricing listed below. So only 8000 miles?

nada.com list trade in $19300
kbb.com $15900
edmunds $18160

I agree somewhat, Not everything went with the car though, essentially I had a bone stock never molested VQDE N/A and some visual mods. I think I did well, didn't get back what I invested into it but I couldn't turn down the offer at the time, well i could have actually he he, I had 2 people lined up right after if the first guy didn't put up the cash!

And thanks for the compliment I took super good care of that car, I loved her and she will be missed!

Ha ha , Nissan of the Eastside said they would take it for full KBB +10%

If I would have advertised my car on here or any other forum really, not singling this one out, my car would have been nit picked and bullied into trying to get me down on my price.. I bet there would have been 30 people saying 12k all day! Even with all the mods!

correct! those are the people I chose to ignore, also the people who asked the first time contacting me "whats your lowest price?" I had tons of great offers and actually picked who I wanted to buy my car , someone who would appreciate it. Damn i woulda slapped the **** outta someone offering me 8k lol.

I still strongly believe that a mid mile (50k+) non-HR Z (i.e. '03-'06) that
is "stock" will not sell above $16k. Any data supporting trends above such
a pricepoint are merely outliers.
