I had Bel-Red (Bellevue local) do work on the wife's RX300 silver. Flawless work. But expensive work. If they give you a good quote, might be a good choice.

JMI randomly returned my call with a quote today (too late anyways), he quoted me around 2k for the entire kit plus hood being painted. he mentioned 500$ of that was towards painting the hood. still a good amount higher then the quote I received from Bel Red.

I used Chamber's Creek Collision in Lakewood to paint and mount a wing on my 3rd Gen RX-7. They have done a couple other jobs for me, but that was the only painting they did on an aftermarket part. They did a great job of painting the parts.

It is a small shop owned by two experienced guys, one does paint, the other does body. Solid guys, very fair prices, and good work.

No, I sold it, then bought the Z.

I was spending more time than I could afford tinkering with the complex sequential twin-turbo control system but didn't want to convert it to non-sequential due to the increased turbo-lag. I decided I would step down to the Z and trade style and performance for reliability. It was a good choice, but I sure miss that FD every time I see an old pic.

I'll check them out today.

BTW. Anyone know where cersoft is.

I tried PMing him with no success, I'm trying to see if he's got one of his G35 hoods laying around somewhere.

If you use them, mention that Dave Hays sent you in. One of their daughters is a good friend of my sons and I have used them for several cars already. I have sent a few folks to them (one was a Z that got hit in a parking lot on Ft. Lewis) and everyone has been very happy with their work. I think they give everyone their best work, but it never hurts for them to know that their other customers will hear about how good a job they do.
