Facelift Teaser...
Painted at Premier Collision.
Color match..."Eh"...I was there with the car when they were doing the color match and it looked good with the color cards/test paints. But after I got it mounted on the car it does look a tad off. Orange base isn't quite as vibrant orange and looks a bit darker. But...In bright full sunlight it looks fine, In my garage under flourecent lights it looks wrong.
Price to paint ( after I did all the repairs and prep )...Alot more than I was expecting to pay. Not completely convinced I wasn't treated like an insurance company and had my wallet gouged for $600 cash out of pocket.

that is why I hate dealing with collision centers arg. they are so used to getting more $ for these jobs by milking insurance companies that they tend to either not care or forget what a normal job should cost. looks good, though!
I've been careful.
For $600 you don't forget too easily.
I park about 2 feet back from anything or go out of my way to find a spot with nothing in front of me.
As far as scraping...I've only done that twice. The first time out of my driveway and the first time pulling in my driveway.

You definitely got gouged on the cost. You can definitely see that the color is off on the darker side. You did some awesome prep work though. You think they would repaint at no cost to get the color match a bit better?
Looks good, Walt. You might wanna look into this: http://www.mynismo.com/images/?id=4658
And I won't have to worry about getting it painted...heh heh.
EDIT: Ordered
