I installed a JWT combo last spring, and their was a large jump in stiffness. Though I bought my Z used so I never had a "new" OEM to compare to.

My stock 05 clutch was stiffer than my JWT clutch.

I think the stock clutch slowly got stiffer over time/miles, and by the time I swapped it, (~50k miles) it was stiffer than an aftermarket unit.
