Default car insurance recommendations?

i am 22 with a dui on my record, i am trying to find an insurance company that will insure me without raping me.. i called around and progressive is the cheapest so far, 2200 for 6 months.. which is still pretty rediculous. i need to get the SR22 insurance, and i would like full coverage(collusion and comprehesive). what are you all paying for your car insurance?? any recommendations? thankss

I trust you have now learned that drinking and driving don't mix. At this point in your life, I suspect you are going to pay through the nose for insurance. Just pay up and get on with the rest of your life.

vern fonk isnt really an insurance company, they just do the leg work for you and check a couple dozen smaller insurance companies that are more willing to take on high risks like you. : P
