Question WA tuner / engine rebuild

Who would recommend a shop for an engine rebuild and tune? I have a Z that is on blocks at the moment and I'd like to prepare for the track next season but I want my block torn down, re-gasket, re-decked, etc...

Anybody can recommend a shop that's specialized or knowledgeable on the VQ35DE?

Thanks,

JAA

What city or does it matter to you? If its on blocks could it be trailered somewhere? If you are anywhere near Redmond you could take it to FAME and they have someone that you could trust to rebuild your motor, but they arent cheap but you get what you pay for.

Intec racing in Kent. They've done a bunch of VQ builds, definitely handled mine right and the price was competitive too. Can't recommend Lawrence enough for his tuning skills with Osiris as well

Thanks for the recommendations I've been out of town WAY too much the last few weeks. I'll give FAME and Intec a call and see what they can offer. I'm in Redmond so FAME might be easier to keep tabs on what's going on.

Isn't FAME pretty focused on the European imports? I'd like to know how many VQ's they've rebuilt...

They do work on Euro but they also do Subaru, Nissan, Toyota, mostly custom and high end high horsepower builds, I think they can handle a "VQ"
