+1 for bouncy bewbies

But in all reality a hks supercharger tuner system + an Osirus tune would make for a nice daily driven Z.

this guy just got one done
https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...lly-s-ced.html

HKS makes quality products, and does't sell stuff thats half-assed. One of the reasons it took so long for their VQ stuff to come to market and be priced so high is the amount of actual R&D that goes into it.

+1 on DavBoy's post... especially the boobies part

do you know the differences between V1/V2/V3 yet?

I don't, but I am assuming there is a good reason to get the V3 over the V2 if that's the route you're going to go.

moar reading needed sir

I believe the V3 is internally lubricated, while the V2 uses yoru motor oil for cooling... probably more than just that, but that's what i picked up on so far...

If Intec Racing in Kent does a Osiris tune, will i still need the Split Second box that comes with the Vortech Kit, or would it be removed?

It will go straight into the trash. Well, thats where mine went when I installed my first JWT 530bb twin turbo kit. (you might be able to get a couple bucks for it on ebay) Its basically a primitive form of piggyback engine management that modifys the ECU's signals, sometimes it works great sometimes it does work...so...great I'd use an emanage before one of those, and we all know how those turned out

Yep,

Goes to intec on Tuesday for a tune.

I'm in the middle of removing the Vortech FMU, and in-line pump right now...
The Plugs and 600cc DW injectors are in... Found out I need a new Drivers valve cover.. My number 6 spark plug tube was FULL, and I mean FULL of oil...

I'm removing the SS box tomorrow, and installing the Walbro pump as well tomorrow...
Then limp it to Intec on Tuesday for a 11 AM tune.

Will my Nissan ext warranty cover the valve cover replacement? it's the Ext zero deductable warranty... I'd think it would be covered but...
I can do teh valve cover swap.. but if nissan will do it.. they can have at it!

Its iffy about the valve-cover warranty, with the supercharger they can deny you instantly but you haven't even started it up under boost, so its pretty much in the service manager's hand... I got mine replaced under warranty with full bolt-ons, its a known issue, and the part alone costs $275+... I'd say hit up the dealership and see if you can get it warrantied. Explain the situation and see what they can do, but definitely do it BEFORE you get the vortech up and running. Just a picture of what it looks like for people who don't know:

For the record that wasn't mine, I was helping a friend change out plugs and came across this so I decided to snap a picture to warn people to check their plugs! I just had a hint of leaking oil in mine but was due for a twin turbo install the following week so I rushed in and got some warranty work

We get all our parts from Yonker Nissan, they're pretty cool guys
