Well i got rear ended by a ford pick up back in June, and now i'm getting a settlement of 1500 for medical. I am looking to upgrade my brakes for with that money... anyone can help? i don't know what size of brakes i need or what brand i can get with that price..

i'm a car illiterate by the way.

For $1,500, you won't get calipers, but you could pick up rotors, lines, and pads.

Yeah you could check the vendor section for a package of rotors, break pads, solid brake lines and nice brake fluid. I got a package from THMotorsports, made my stock brakes perform much better.

I would look into the stop tech stage 2 kit (no calipers), or a used brembo setup from someone that upgraded from it. as barker mentioned, you can't really afford a kit that includes calipers at that price point, but I think the stage 2 kit is around 650$ for really good quality pads, rotors, stainless steel brake lines and motul fluid.

This is all true, used is an option.

I'd still go w/ something like a Stoppie Stage II.

i have to replace my front brakes anyways.

so what is a reliable site to get the stoptech stage2?
