yeah a bit but when I called nissan on it they said that the motor uses very little oil to lubricate the rings which does get burned but he said that it shouldn't be noticible. For me I check my oil bout once a month and its not down that much, maybe bout 3oz of loss/mo.

I think it would look okay, personally, I would do the A pillars in CF- before thinking about the spoiler. It would complete the look, again, this is my opinion take it with a grain of salt.
Hey, hey take it easy man. If I wanted oPPinions on my car the thread would have been titled "looking for compliments on my bad *** z"...
anyway, the cf A pillars are very hard to find. vividracing.com wants over $600 for them and a possible 3month wait on shipping. I did find a pair just receantly for $350 which will be buying here pretty soon.
This is the wing that will go on my cf hatch, oPPinions or not...

Is it just my elderly eyes, or does that hatch make visibility even more challenging than it already is?

Keep it the way it is. Non carbon wing on a carbon hatch looks out of place.

I say no to the spoiler if you must keep the CF hatch. IMO CF hatches don't look like right on this car unless the Z is black.

I agree.
The large area or CF looks out of place unless the car is black or maybe the darker grays.

I like the hatch to a point...but to make it look right you have to get it painted or paint your car black. Otherwise it's just not a good look.

CF looks great as an accent e.g. canards, lip, diffuser but no as a large body piece like that.

Well to be honest even though the window is small the visibility is better since that nismo wing was right in the way and also caused my anti glare mirror not to work. Now it works great and visibility is just fine!
I agree.
The large area or CF looks out of place unless the car is black or maybe the darker grays.

The plan was to have the top half dark and rest pearl white! Now I'm heading towards changing everything to carbon fiber. I love the way cf looks and you can't beat droping 200-300lbs by switching doors and hatch to cf.
The skirts and front bumper will also go to cf counter parts!

weight savings are great - but I don't think I would want to replace the doors with CF ones. side impact would scare the crap out of me. on a track car I would have no reservations.

Yes of course, there is a oposite to any situation and for that mater no one should take any risk whatsoever, but we do anyway! For example; every person that jumps on a motorcycle to comute to work takes a huge risk just because he/she wants to save on gas or just loves to ride and the risk is worth it!
Not to mention those death trap smart cars! Lol
