be careful with the long tube CAI that goes down into the bumper, I've had trouble with a couple guys getting the filter wet and the car not running right.

I've had the Gen 3's on for a few months now, and haven't had any problems with them getting wet. I've driven them in some pretty serious downpours too.

My major complaint with them is the fact that you have to pull the bumper to clean/change the filters.

GLWS. From what I've heard, the Fujitas make a nice sound.

Not if you had an Aerosync N1 style front bumper...already painted S.O.....and yes, still with a small crack in the lip.

Thanx Saemor4, I susspected such trouble and was going to ask around b4 I purchased the long tubes. if this a persistent problem I might just have to go with stillens sealed box type cai.

As far as the sound from the fujita is concerned, that does sound very nice. very noticeble throaty sound at 3500rpm and up!

as far as the 3rd gen stillen intakes getting wet I believe it maters what kind of bumper is protecting them, (some are designed to push wind direction towards the upper part of the radiator thus getting the filters wet).

You sly devil, you. If only there wasn't a crack in it. I just don't have the time or place to do the repairs.

Good point. I'm still running with the stock front, so they are tucked up in there tight.

As for anyone interested in the fujitas, I'll add that the short ram intakes are super quick to install/remove. So if you're bringing it into the dealership and are worried about them giving you a hard time warranty wise, in 15 minutes you can swap your stocks back on. I did it a bunch of times when I had my short intakes.
