Default North West Region: Drift 7/31/2011

Anyone going to this?? It's an open event, and I believe the course at this one is held at like an open parking lot with cones, so no need to worry about effing your car up by putting your car into a ditch, wall tapping, or hitting any sort of barrier... Looks kind of promising! I'm reading up on the regulations/rules right now. I guess you have to pre-register online, can't do it day of at the event. I think I might be registering to drive this one!! Would be more fun if some 350z/g35 guys came out!!

I might go watch, its a fun little track, they usually set up on the left side of the track behind the 1/4 start area
Careful when you get off the highway and head to track, usually when events are rolling there is extra patrol on a road that wants you to speed!

They run great events. The events are run under draft SCCA drift rules which means that unless you are REALLY stupid, you'll have a great time!

Yeah me neither.. This will be my first drift event. I feel like this would be a great starting point for beginners, because it's at huge open parking lot, so there are no walls or barriers. Also, by the looks of it, looks like it's a 2nd gear course. I'm 90% sure I'm going!! I really want to start drifting, and eventually do open events at Evergreen and PGP! PGP looks like great fun!
