Maybe Moving to Seattle
Bwahaahaha Eric that is so true. We got some of the best weed up here in the PNW. Not to mention it's decriminalized so as long as you have under 40 grams it's not a felony, usually just a slap on the wrist, or a ticket.
looks like the folks on here have you pretty well covered. If you're working on the east side, live on the eastside. Those bridges are hell when it comes to traffic.
Mostly just wanted to say welcome to the neighborhood! If you dont mind the rain Seattle is a great place to live. Just uh...get used to wet roads. Yesterday i felt the full 300 horses of my Z for what is probably the last time in the next nine months. Lots of subies and audi's up here....
Also the hills aren't THAT bad in downtown if you know your car. I commute every day in my M/T 350z to downtown without any problems.

If you smoke weed, this is the place to be... hippies and hipsters aplenty.
And to clarify something, it doesn't actually "rain" in Seattle as most people think of rain like in the South or when it rains in Arizona. The best way to describe it is that it lightly drizzles, almost like a mist. In fact, you'll rarely hear thunder or see lightening either. Just think of the weather here as a hangover. Dulled senses and a headache through the day that can only be addressed by going back out to the bars the next night
Oh, and the roads in King County suck *****. Aside from that, you'll like the area. Move to the areas between North Renton and Kirkland and you'll be fine. Have fun and welcome!
Not to mention it's only three hours South of Vancouver, BC. home of "BC Bud". THE best of the best.

why have i not seen you around before lol? and he's right the rain here is nothing like rain down there, occasional heavy rain but most of the time drizzle or mist/overcast
Look at my profile, you'll see I am not exclusively in Seattle. I am also in Vancouver, BC. I do want to start getting more involved in the Seattle Z scene though. Aftermarket parts seem to be easier to come by in Seattle than in BC too.
Because I'm only a blur when you pass by in your stroked TT,

lol... Yeah, I saw a brand new Mercedes AMG with two license plate screw-sized dings on its rear bumper yesterday. The car still had its paper temp license taped to the window. People do park like crap on the streets here. They generally don't give a $hit about other peoples' cars. I usually park mine in the Exhibition Center garage and the girl at the toll booth keeps an eye on it for me (I've been parking there since it first opened and she's been working there since it first opened... depressing on both ends). When the weather's garbage or I'm late, I'll park at the big football stadium North lot and sometimes I see a gray Z parked there. Figured it might be yours.
If you really want a good meal, albeit an expensive one, Daniels is whats up. The veal there is amazing. If youre into a quick good inexpensive meal, theres a ton of good mexican places round these parts.
Oh and Eric,
Oh and Eric,
I think everyone covered Greater Seattle pretty well.
Rain is like drizzle so really no need for umbrellas. (Washintonians don't carry umbrellas).
If you work in Bellevue, Kirkland or Bellevue is the best. I grew up in Kirkland, it's very yuppie n peacefull there.
If you like going out dressed up like in AZ, Bellevue, if you like jeans n t-shirt, Seattle/U-district/Kirkland. clubs are mostly in Seattle if you like to go out on weekend.
I would try to avoid freeway especially 405, people drive really slow, and people don't understand Fast/passing lane and carpool lane. They drive 55-60. It will **** you off!
Lastly, if you don't like Asians, too bad, you can't get away from us!! We are all over greater Seattle!! I bet if you drive Aurora ave for 5 minutes, you will see more asians than you've ever seen in AZ. When I went there a few years ago, only place I can find any asians were in Casino Arizona! There were none working even at PF chang's!!
I also remember going to wendy's in AZ and the server didn't want to touch my cup when I asked for refill and gave me new one. It took me a second to realize the Mexican dude working at counter thought I might have SARS(do you remember?) because I was an Asian... I wanted to yell, "I'm Japanese and there are 0 case of SARS in Japanese population! There are better chance you have it! Ignan ****!"

VQ35 your post made me lol haha "there's more chances you have it you dirty mexican"? haha
and thats true what you said about carpool/pass lanes, people are idiots here, they will stay in far left lane, and go 10 miles under speed limit.

When I was in Phoenix. I was probably the only Filipino in town.
The only asians WOULD be in the Casino. Hahaha.
Here in the PNW. There are so many different ethnicities.
Especially in this generation, many people are mixed.

Daniel's filet is the shiznit as well.
