Looking for mentor in WA state
Obviously I live in WA, I have zero experience with cars due to always riding my streetbike or driving my dads trucks. My 350z is the first car I've ever owned and I am no where near being mechanicly inclined. If you live in WA state and know your stuff, it would be greatly appreciated if someone can help/ guide with maintenance and opinions on parts. If anyone doesn't mind let me know it would be pretty sweet to get some hands on help from another Z driver!
we have quite a few northwest members on here. my best advice to you is simply searching for answers. there are do it yourself (DIY) threads all over the internet as well as this forum if you run into problems or have questions.
perhaps the puyallup guys can aid you.

Be sure to read the "before you modify anything" sticky, there's good info in there. Also, agree 100% with Duckee- members have created some awesome DIY threads covering almost anything you can think of. Those threads combined with doing some prior research with search, I've been able to do mods based on pros/cons and helps me decide if it's even worth it. If those fail you, throw up a post and experts out there (I'm not one) are quick to help. Welcome to the board and area...

What direction are wanting to go in? Time Attack, Autox, drifting, 1/2 1/4 mile, daily driver, compete in shows? Your modifications will be based on where you want to end up eventually. It took me 2 years to decide on what i wanted to do with the car and i ended up autox. I didn't know anything about a VQ, HR but now i'm real savvy with the Z33. Each part I purchased was for a purpose and not a waste of money. Shine some light on this and we'd be more than happy to drop some knowledge.

intake test pipes exhaust tune coilovers or springs and a LSD. the only difference would be if your going fi the application you use it in then. but even then the difference between a single and twin set up is minimal you can make a good 1/4 mile car with twins or single etc.
