Default Dyno Testing

Just returned from running a Dyno test on my 350, wanted to have a baseline done to checkout some modifications that I will be doing shortly.
Had it done at PRO/MAX in South Tacoma as they have a Dynojet Dynamometer and they were recommented by a friend in the Porsche Club. They do four runs cost $75 with printouts. Took about a hour.
They do club meets for the local Porsche, Impala, Corvette and other car clubs. Allowing them to have the use of the dyno for the day (up to 12 cars for $500. They have a large and interesting facility could make for a nice 350Z event this Spring.

Like to see who's interested.

Sounds good, I need a baseline anyway. Do they have a wideband O2 sensor? How did yours turn out?

Didn't use the O2 sensor with my test, so I do not know if they have it or not. I didn't run my car over 6100 rpm but it had 217 hp at 5900 and Max T of 209lbs at 4900rpm. Interesting the Z has a huge flat T curve starting at 2800rpm (190) to 5900 (190) max out 210 at 4900rpm. Injen Technology has run stock Z showing max hp at 232 and max T at 230. Why I was lower? May be the gas or tires? I have a Base with only the 235's on the rear. Anyways I have a base to compare to when I make any changes.

I know that we'll have a kick *** good time if we should take them up on using their facilities.

Sorry,I missed last week's Nissan gathering last week at Golden Garden but my car was on the rack and we were burning the midnight oil trying to get so mods done for the Z show. We failed. But, my Z is outfitted with new shoes, and a complete exhaust system. Done by Clear Image Automotive a local company that specializes in custom applications. Anyway, I took the Z to Pro/Max again for a Dyno rerun. Boy did I gain some power. To see the details go to: http://www.clearimageautomotive.com/350Z.htm. They have all the details of my baseline and after modification graphs. These results are all adjust/corrected to the baseline day's condition. My gains were at least 10% at the rear wheels both for T/ Hp.

I will be doing another posting to checkout who and when we would like to meet, say at pro/max.

There is clearly something wrong with your numbers or you car. I have a AIM CAI, Borla True duel exhaust and TS ecu flash and Had 241lbft of torque and 247RWHP, Another completely stock Z had about 7 less lbft of torque and 7 less HP than my car.
These where on a Dynojet and are standard numbers for a 350Z, Your number are very weak at best or you test equipment/crew are making a very bad error.

Who's dyno did you use? If it was the one at Pro/Max in Tacoma, I would be concerned because of the difference reported but different dyno can give different results. What gear did you use? I used fourth. Maybe the gas is better in Bellingham, fresher.(just kidding). You have your statis, checkout the ratio between the two cars. The programs can be different, the corrected top hp was 236 three times. Max was 242 uncorrected. What I was looking for was an accurate comparison against the benchline. What were your changes? Surely, your gain was greater than 7 over the stock Z that you referred too. I operated the car and the tech. was also the same person on all the testing.
