front liscense plate
Does anyone have a way around mounting the front liscense plate? I'm picking up my new roadster tomorrow and I really hate to ruin the looks of the front end...
HELP!
Thanks in advance

If you are required to have a front plate, the above options are the way to go.
Some people say to put it [front plate] on the dash or on the passenger flip sun visor... but is not really recommended in states where front license plate enforcement is strict.

I use two big rubber bands to hold my plate onto the passenger's side sun visor. If I want it displayed I can flip it forward, if not I just keep it folded up. It seems to meet Washington state specifications on displaying plates on a vehicle. I'm not sure if you would be able to quote legislation to get out of a ticket if a cop pulls you over for not having a front plate. Can anyone w/ legal knowledge on this subject provide some insight? Here's the URL to the description of the law.

i didnt want my plate drilled into the bumper but they did it anyway, would it look terrible if i took it out now and got the z bracket and just filled those holes somehow...maybe some foam/putty in there and a cap or sumthin =/ i dunno.

just don't put it on. I havent had one since I got the Z in Feb 03, and havent had a problem yet. I figure if I do get pulled over it will be a fix-it ticket and then I can go to some other method like the Zee bracket....but I'll keep it plate free as long as I can.
