Default Ticket

Got a ticket for going 110 on the 101 in San Mateo. No radar was used, I had my V1 and I even asked the cop. He said he was pacing me. Is there any way to fight this? On the back of the ticket it says you can contest it by mail. Oh and I got the no front plate fix it ticket. I'll just buy the z bracket and have the DMV write that off.

If you were actually going 110 or close to it. I dont see anyway around it. I'm suprised you didn't get arrested.

Actually my ticket says it was near Whipple Rd in Redwood City so I guess I had already passed the bridge. The cop seamed pretty jealous, he asked me 4 times if the Z was my car. I got nervous when I left and ended up dropping the clutch at 4,000 rpms and threw rocks and dust all over the Crown Vic. It was pretty funny actually.

SM Bridge is the worst to speed on . . . but I'm guilty going 148 late late night with no cars in sight both ways. Trying to top out but then chickened out(from getting pulled over). Never doing that again . . . plus bridges are double the fine.

Good luck on it . . . but I'm glad you didn't get towed and arrested.

I've already paid one ticket in the past. I understand I broke the law but i'm tired of it. Send me the web address. I've been emailing this lawyer and he is like you face up to 90 days in jail trying to scare me and stuff LOL. I'm gonna see what his rates are. My email is chris.klotz@gmail.com.

Goto court and fight it. If he doesn't have a print out of your speed according to his gun, he can't prove that you were speeding. Almost all CHP vehicles are equipped w/ radar guns, he shouldn't have a reason why he can't use it to justify speeding tickets.

just because a cop didnt use his radar doesnt mean you can get off the hook... your still gonna get a ticket and if you go to court and the cop shows up, theres no way out of it... except lower the fine

humm...i don't see how you want to fight for going 110mph. No offense but you put other people life in danger. Bring your car to the track and max out the speed. So the next time you push on the pedal, please think for other people life bro.

Default Your toast...

You got caught/busted...you admit you were speeding...How could you possibly think you can beat this rap. If placed under oath as you usually are in a court of law, what will you say?

I had a cop who acted jealous before too. He kept asking if it was my car and then he asked me how old I was. The guy was a dick.

Got a ticket for 108 on the 5, coming up from Socal.

When I went to court, Judge said, "There are only 2 excuses I accept for going over 100mph... 1) your wife is giving birth in your car and you're on the way to the hospital or 2) someone is chasing and shooting at you from behind."

Uh yeah...

I paid the minimum fine of $638, and one-month, suspended DL.

Good luck!
