SOUTH BAY - New Cable Scheme?

Looks like for San Jose they finally went to one cable system instead of having A and B like they used to. When did this happen?

a/b is why I left them and now with DirecTV and dual tuner tivo I am never going back.

I'm in the Almaden Valley and I dunno now. It was A/B when we lived here (for sure from 79 to 04). I went straight to DirecTV.
