Cost me $15 for the fix-it... but that was because I got the initial Fix-It in LA. I guess it's $10 here?

Thier excuse was that you need it for those traffic cameras at the lights. Plus, it's the LAW or something...

I'm sure you can get it to be a Fix-It at least.
CA Vehicle Code is a book where all traffic laws are posted. Californiacodes.com is a good reference. Section is 5200 CVC, which is clearly marked on the parking citation. CA Highway Patrolmen, when they cannot get a good bead on your roaring in the number one lane in your nicely modified Z will many times pass you on the left side as a little reminder that they are there. Then as they are passing notice he/she will take a glance like a ball pitcher taking a peek at a baserunner to see if there is a front plate is attached. If not, then that lack of a little speeding bead turns into an enforcement stop. They may take a look at your modifications. Personally, I don't say much, present my registration, driver license & insurance card at once. This has saved me a couple of times especially after saying, "But Officer, I did not know a front plate was required under CA law." Key is presenting the documents at once, no fumbling around. If you do then rest assured you will be cited for no front plate--minimum. rich, san jose

I have a "Z" bracket for the front license plate that screws into the front tow hook no drilling into the bumper. They cost $50.00 but I will sell for $25.00. I used it once when I got a fix it ticket and after getting it signed off I just took it off and again was stylin on my way. I just sold my Z and my Volks now I have a few items left. email me at biggfigga@prodigy.net if intersted. This is a must have for fix it tickets!! Great price, hit me up.

Welcome to the NorCal 350 Section...

Since you just bought your car... you can ride the "I haven't received my plate from the DMV yet" for a whole year... the worst they'll make you do is contact DMV to let them know and then they will give you a fix it... $10 fee

That's what i did
