Back on topic tho...Did you have the infamous "deceleration hiss" that most test pipes and HF cats have? Not to be confused w/ the 3K rasp.
Thank you!

I don't now much about this, but can I replace the stock cats with the ones you have for sale with no other needed upgrades? Of course some new cat back exhaust would be nice, but I would have to wait a little bit. What benefits will I get by changing the cats only?
Why are you selling them?

the oem cats are the most restrictive part of the exhaust system. (the next most restrictive part is the ypipe) by changing the out the cats, performance will increase due to better flow/less restriction.
i am selling because i do not need both parts anymore.

mgl,
I asked around about getting these installed and nobody wanted to touch it, since it is still a new car (OBD2). Here is a quote from the Random Technology website:
Under Federal EPA regulation, replacement of original catalytic converters is allowed only if the original converter(s) is missing, or the vehicle has more than 50,000 miles or is at least five years old and the need for a replacement has been established and documented, or a local inspection program has determined the existing converter is in need of replacement.
I'm sure you know this, but I will have to back out of this sale. I appreciate your helpfulness in answering my questions. I would rather not have to deal with any possible failing smog test and any possible warranty problems at this time.
Thanks

most people save the oem cats when it comes time to smog.
and you can change out the cats on your own.
