Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays has some good deals on packages if you are not picky about flying in their planes. Last year i got $860/ person for my girlfriend and I to Maui. You can check plan your trip online. Hope this helps

I've never been to Maui but have read tons of complaints about roaches at various 4 and 5 star hotels I would still love to visit Maui so any info on this would be helpful. Been to other islands and my 2 favorite places have to be the Princeville Resort on Kauai and the Mandarin Oriental on Oahu. Princeville has an awesome Sunday brunch with a beautiful cliffside view and the Mandarin Oriental has stellar service and a totally relaxing atmosphere. Close to Waikiki but far enough to feel private. Both hotels offer various specials located here. Seems like the MO has particularly good prices right now.

Try this site: I stayed in Kihei, the south side. Did not see a single roach.

Also there is a great book to use to plan your trip and to have once you are there, "Maui Revealed".

Check this site out. www.biddingfortravel.com . I went to maui last november and got room at the maui coast for $90 a night. Read up on the bidding process and it will save you $$$. Thats on the southwest side of the island where it is the sunniest. Good Luck.

In January the wife & I did a 15 day island hopping cruise on Princess. We put it together on Priceline. Best vacation I have ever had. Period. Can't wait to do it again. Huge value for money.
