Reminds me of when I bought oil filters last month. I called Vallejo Nissan and asked if they had them and how much. I was told something like $7.50 each but they could give me two for $10.00. I was going to Santa Rosa to meet with Jeremy (Invisiguard) and I thought I'd just run in and grab them. Well I was pressed for time and wasn't able to get the filters.
Two days later, I called Fairfield Nissan and asked about the filters. They also had them in stock at $7.50 each but would sell them for $5.00 each if I bought three. I went in and told the parts guy I wanted three, and I mentioned Vallejo Nissan's price. He said he's heard it too; and see what he can do. The guy charged me $12.00 and change for all three.
Shows you there are still nice people around.

 

Yes, thanks Chris for offering your services. I recently bought filters at Freeman Nissan in Santa Rosa but they never offered any discount so Zbart you were better off.

I wasn't impressed with Freeman's service dept. either. Seemed totally ignorant about what's going on with the Z and related problems. The guy sat there and read the Bose TSB then said "so what of it". Even though it will be a hassle I'll probably be going down to North Bay Nissan in Petaluma. Anybody here heard good/bad about their service?
