Couple of thoughts on get togethers.

First, my assumption is to pick a time/place that works for Zzzzers
in Bay Area (include north Bay), San Jose, & Sacramento.

Time: Eithor Saturday afternoon or mid-day Sunday. Friday is out because traffic east out of the Bay area on Friday along I80 (or 680 north) is really bad. On Sunday afternoons, after 3PM or so, the traffic west into the Bay is equally bad. Saturday or early Sunday is okay.

Place: If the idea is to meet & share compliments & ooh-aahs with some food/drinks, the perfect place is Captain Blythers in Benicia. Benicia is about an hour from north & south Bay; a little longer from Sacto. Blythers is right on the water, good food, & lots of parking room near by.

If the idea is to have a run there is a terrific two lane road (#128, I think) between Napa & Winters (passing just south of Lake Berryessa)....about 40 miles. I ran the road last week heading east from Napa & it made for fun driving. Run could be made eithor direction. Winters is relitively easy to get to.......I80 to I 505 (with an exit at Winters.). People could meet at a restraunt
at eithor Napa or Winters.

Date: Spring.

At least gives something for ya all to shoot at.

I've taken that road several times. Nice drive and scenery but a little short on twisties until you get closer to the lake..then there are some real nice stretches.

Hey!Does anybody up here in the north bay want to come out to the Santa Rosa autocross? The first ones in March at the airport and theres going to be 1 350 for sure, would be kinda neat to get a few up there so we can all laugh at each other when we spin out

I might be up for it. All depends on the timing.
