The day’s events will go as follows. Meet and setup for a mini car show and have lunch. After lunch we will go on the planned drive. The drive is not a race or to see who has a better car. If you wish to showboat then take it to a track. I and those who volunteer to help me will not tolerate any showboating. If you do we will stop the drive and ask you to leave. Please respect others and others space while driving. There will be also 1 or 2 photo opps for the drive.

The event website with maps and these details are on
This is a huge meet. I went to it last time and there were well over 100 cars. It's also a toy drive to help needy children. Last year the DSM community pretty much let me down as I was the only DSM there. The bmw group was strong, there was a group NSX's and even a lotus elise showed up. Hopefully the nissan community won't let me down like the DSM community did. :P I will keep you guys posted when I recieve more information. Feel free to add yourself to the list.

Also there will be caravans from sacramento, east bay, etc. I will keep you guys posted on those too.

I went to a few of the "SRO" sponsored ones a few years back...good event for the communities and it shows that us "car enthusiasts" aren't all FnF crazies...

Ah ok.. first post updated with some info.. I'll get info on caravans ASAP

NVM for some reason I can't edit the first post.. but here's the new info:

The July Toys for Tots Meet and drive will be held in the parking lot of

Regal Cinemas 20 and IMAX Hacienda Crossings
5000 Dublin Blvd, Dublin CA 94568

This is off HW 580 on the Hopyard RD exit.

We will be meeting towards the back of the parking lot neat BEST BUY. If you come in you can’t miss the group of cars. We will be meeting AT 11:00Am and heading off for the drive around 1:00PM.

For those who are going on the drive, this is one of the most energizing rounds I have scouted out for this meet. I will not post the run until the night before. If you are on my email list you will get the run before hand. It has some VERY challenging areas and some areas the make for great photo opps. Total drive length is 55 miles and will take about 2 hours figuring photo shoot stops.

yea our webmaster gave up the business so we were left to create our own new site. It's very much in its beta stages still.

I'm not so sure on the BayZa bbq being on the 24th...it's all very much up in there air.

But like all scheduled BayZa events...I'll post the details on this forum when they are concrete.

Southbay Caravan:

Ok, since nobody was realling taking any initiative at the other forums, I did myself. I'm having a vote on the meeting place. Here are the three:

In and out on Tully and Capitol (across from eastridge, ok parking, might attract too much rice boy attention)

Great mall, top level parking structure (not a bad idea, a few other are going to go with this one)

Fry's in fremont (very easy to find, visible form the freeway, but parking is always full)

Any farther and you run out of popular easy to find meet spots.

Any bites from BayZa? The response from the 240 community is dissapointing...

Also, for those coming, you will need to bring a 2way radio, so everyone can talk to each other, and if something happens up front, we'll know to slow down.
