Default Can I take a ride in your Nismo or Fujitsubo Exhausted Z?

I am in South San Jose, I am thinking about getting the Nismo or Fujitsubo exhaust and would like to hear what the difference is inside the Z coupe. Basically, I need to make sure that whatever I get pass the level of acceptability for my wife so she will continue to ride in the car on long weekend outings but still want some tone so I know I am driving a Z.

Anyone up for a demo run? It really does not need to be that long, just a quick trip on the freeway should suffice.

Thanks,
Chris

Im coming up to Laguna Seca this weekend for the Moto GP races. Ive got the Nismo CAI and Exhaust but its convertible so its probably a bit louder. Not exactly the set-up you were looking for but if you want to meet up at the race let me know.

Not exactly a ride, but...

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ight=fujitsubo

It is VERY subdued and rather quiet when driving around normally but over 3k it sounds a bit louder and if you stomp on it, it roars... sounds perfect!

Thanks for the responses guys. I am pretty sure I need a coupe for comparisons, the back hatch (megaphone shape) made my injen louder inside the car than it was outside.

B-Unit thinks the Fujitsubo is a little quieter than stock, I might need a bit tone more than that.

wren57 description sounds nice but I am running (and probably will continue to run) stock cats so I am not sure the Fujitsubo will even show up on the sound radar but I do like the idea of it getting loud up at high RPMs.

Moodie, I might take you up on that, I work in Down Town SJ, maybe we can get together some time after work or something, or I can wait for the next meet.

I am in trouble though, I sold my injen and got some B-day money from my Mom and it is burning a hole in my pocket (ok, technically it's in the bank) and I miss the motor sound (ok, I have a little sound from the intake). I probably would have bought the Nismo the other day if I had some way to get it home in my Z.

What to do...
Chris

Hey Chris,
I have the Nismo exhaust but it's paired with the Nismo headers and a JWT popcharger. If you want to hear the sound in a coupe, shoot me a pm. Have car will travel!
