If you plan on dropping your car that low, just be prepared to scrape..... a lot! If this is your daily driver, you may want to make sure that your car will be fine over the roads you travel on a regular basis.

A lot of people here dropped their car, but most ended up raising them a bit due to the fact that they were scraping over everything, driveways, speedbumps, etc.

My suggestion: get some track-oriented coilovers and track your car. It's tons of fun!

I'd think it goes lower based on ppl's rides I've seen w/ those coilovers....but i can't speak from personal experience of owning them. Tony can tho.

I appreciate my fellow nor cal bro's experience.

Really its helped me a lot. My car is damn low to begin with (subjectively speaking 1.2-1.3" on the Tanabe GF210).

It was a tough choice b/c I was going to do the full ings half kit and stuff, but after Mikes post, a slam and sick wheels is all the Z needs

On another post a guy said he went 2" + all the way around on his G35 coupe. I'm certain the specs listed on teins website are wrong. I'm going to try a few settings, probably 2.1" front and 2" rear and if its too low I'll raise it. I will try to mimick Mikes stance though.

Thanks all....waiting for the sellers response.

The max drop on the Basic is 1.2" but you can take out one of the height adjusting plate, that would give you about 3/8" extra.

Also, put like 4 12" sub + box and 5 amps for an extra 1/2"

Chad to the rescue haha. I just paid for the basics from the guy in florida. If you can take that rear collar thing out, thats great! Effectively thats a 1.58" drop--exactly what I was looking for. Can't wait to come to your shop man!
