Yes, let's do another Bay Area meet, dinner or something. I was in Southern California this past weekend, and they held a Foutain Valley meet. Unfortunately, I could not make that one.

No offense, Takao; but I'd have to think it over if it will be held in your restaurant.
Last time we were there, it took some of us an hour just to get our orders in. Some of our group members had finished their dinners LOOONNGG before others even got to order. It was really disappointing since we even did a headcount before the event. So, one would think that your restaurant would be ready for our group. It wasn't the case. Tables weren't even set up for us and we were not all in a common area; some were way on the other side of the restaurant.
Unless of course, you promise better service. After all, it's really just another restaurant to us. And you might consider giving discounts as well.

 

I KNOW!!! I COMPLAINED THEM ABOUT THAT!!! I was pissed and embarassed. I just didn't tell you guys, hehehe.... I was the one who was the most upset person at that night!!! I aplogize about it.

I enjoyed the Z Car meet at your place. The service at my table was great, and my party of six really enjoyed your cute waitress. I am sorry if others were disenfranchised, but that was not the case at my table.

The food was great, and the prices were reasonable. But, maybe that is because my Z car is essentially a "run-about" car, as is yours.

Guys, cheer-up, we had an awesome time at the Z meet. I am sure the Z meets will improve with experience.

I will be there, assuming it is before the 20th, or after the 4th. I did notice, SilverChrome, that your table was paying their bill before most of our table got our food. It was really long, but, I had fun talking to everyone, so it wasn't so bad. The girls there just seemed a little bit overwhelmed, so maybe one or two more servers would be a good idea for the next meet.

Just joking, brother. Well, we can do the meet without Takao, or we can wait until Takao returns. We did a meet in Mountain View in the Krispy Kreme Donut Parking lot. I think I liked the dinner setting at Mas Sake a little better. We were able to bring our girls to the restaurant for a great dinner.

Also, Cazzzz Z was gonna drive up for the meet on the 20th, because we have another Christmas Party to attend on the 21st.

Hey all,

Well, its that time of the year when colleges break for winter and I head up to the bay to be with my family for Christmas, etc. For whatever its worth, I'd like to meet with you guys, I'll be up there on the 22nd and am going to be around until end of January.

Also, anyone here done the West Marin run yet? I'm hoping the weather holds up and I'll be able to get at least 1 run out there, I'd be happy to see if we could get together an actual group run (some of the best backroads in all of cali).
