Default Thinking of selling your car?

Stevens Creek Nissan just sent me an email stating that they want to buy my Z at full KBB price. Too bad I got rid of it a year ago, so if anyone is looking to sell your Z call Doc Whitmore at Stevens Creek Nissan.

Dear xxxxx,

My name is Doc Whitmore, I'm the Resale Manager at Stevens Creek Nissan.

Due to a recent expansion of our Resale Department, we have an immediate need for your 2003 Nissan 350Z and will pay full Kelly Blue Book value (less any necessary reconditioning costs) for your car!

If you are thinking of selling your vehicle, or are considering trading it in for one of our fabulous new vehicles, please contact me right away!

No gimmicks! We really need your 350Z! Don't miss this great opportunity! Call me at 408-983-5900 to set up an appointment to have your vehicle inspected. We must inspect it in person.

Sincerely,

Doc Whitmore

It's a gimmik to get you in the door to buy a new car. I get them too. What they mean is "full KBB trade in value". They may give a little more but will never go over "Private Party Value".

I had a very bad experience with SCN the first time I took my car there for service. I will never go there again.

I didnt think they would go for full Private Party Value, but if they came close to full Excellent Trade in Value, it wouldnt be that bad of a deal.

If the new Z06 was out yet I might think about it...

What's up Corsair? What was your bad experience with SCN? I just had my car there today because I have a bad wheel sensor which is tripping up my ABS (sounded like a transmission clunking type noise, but turned out to be ABS). Gary the Master Tech there is an awesome guy and a great tech. He only needed one listen to know it was the ABS, hooked up the consult II, verified it, bam, my new wheels sensors will be in next week. Don't even deal with the service advisors there--everytime I go in there seems to be a whole new batch of them who don't seem very knowledgable about the Z. Gary on the otherhand is a true Jedi mechanic--just ask to speak to him to explain your problem and you should be golden....
