Id like to also mention how awesome Corsair and Fowlman did:
Corsair- Has an 03 with what a pop charger and exhaust i believe and is running 13.7's?

Fowlman- has just an intake i think and is an AT and his 13.8's consistently. Everyone tries to say how much faster the M3 is. But all he ran was 1 tenth faster most of the night. He did a 13.6 as his best. Average drivers vs Average driver = Drivers race.

It would also be great to get that Tercel. He beat Sean last night.
(Dial in: 19.95 65 mph???????) It is difficult to watch him almost cross the finish line and still be waiting for the green light. I think now we have all raced him in the finals.

yup, we should complain to the tower and say "I dont think he passed tech inspection or something." Doesn't he need a parachute at that speed!" or I think i saw him sleeping while he was doing his run!" that's definitely not safe. HA HA HA HA HA

I have gotten to know him. (Mark Avila) He actually keeps meticulous records of each run and constantly changes his dial in based on temp runs etc. He isn't just pointing it straight and pressing the pedal. He has awesome reaction times and is never more than 2-3/1000's off his dial in.

He doesn't have to worry about traction problems though.

Well, I did my best with the clips...but I think Bruce and Chad have got the real high-quality stuff.
What a great time though...I love being there with all of the crew. We should seriously have our own t-shirts(or sweats ) made...or would that be too lame?
The ride to Infineon was just as fun as the ride back, but a little colder. It's a wonder none of us get tickets the way we do roll-ons every nanosecond. yes, I have rolled Bruce...and he beat me accelrating from 6th gear

Dale's car was looking good with those SHUk rims...his wife did well in the Titan...runnin' low 15s!

I was really impressed with Sean's runs. I guess that ice-bag on the intake trick worked! Speaking of intakes...doesn't that Kinetix intake plenum look sweet on the G35?!!!

So Walt, are we tied or are you winning after last night? Sean what do you have? I've got 6 smiley faces.
OWNZ YOU!!!!!!!

Bruce's Z is just plain wicked. ANd those new Stoptech's are dead sexy...check the pics!

Looking forward to the next race.

Infinion on Wednesday was a blast. I wish the F/I's guys could make it out more often. There were so many awesome Z's out there. Walt and I are usually there just about every Wed. I guess I am lucky that I can usually get out of work. So yeah, everyone looked great out there. Alvin I turned the house upside down and found one more smiley face so that gives me a total of 5. Thanks to Rob for the help on the burn-outs. I was revving wayyyyy to high before. I bet Mark Avila has a room full of Trophy's by now. I don't knock his driving skill but a TERCEL??? C'mon!

I've already got my baby back and running thanks to Z Car Garage. I knew I was pushing it with stock clutch and APS TT. I did get 8 months of moderate driving but Infineon ate it up. With my new JWT clutch and flywheel I'll be ready the next time on 8/31.

I felt bad that you had trouble. I thought it would be OK after it cooled down. What a drag when you have something like that happen that far from home.

Jack....drag your sorry azz out there so I can LOL while Sean destroys you in a race.

Seans (corsair) secret weapon. Warm icepacks on the plenum.
j/l
they are usually cold.

I just checked by calling INfineon Raceway and Aug 31st will be open to Wed night drags. The websites says otherwise but that is an "error" so we are rolling next week.... Come on everyone lets do it again!

Damn Bruce you really screwed me up by changing the title of the thread. I'm sitting here going 31 responses??? How the hell did I miss this thread.

Yeah the website says they are closed, but that's cool if they are running. Hope to see everyone there.

I believe it.

I had a meeting scheduled next Weds, but it looks like I can rearrange it and get out there. My goal is a 13.6 with street tires. (and some smiley faces too).

Damn what did you guys do to your Zs? Has he lightened it up more or something? I know sac is a faster track but running 13s at infineon is way impressive from a basically stock car.
