Guys, I'll be there for this one tomorrow. Details regarding safety equipment?? Should I bring my helmet? Change my seat out and put in restraints?? Anyway, let me know what time to be there for tech inspection and how much $$$ to bring.

scubasteve
-Bring your helmet...anything under 14.0 s requires one. The fee is either $20 or $25. Unless you plan on running in the 11s range, they don't require you to have any more safety equipment other than OEM (I woudn't spend the time to put in a harness...).
See you tomorrow!

Scubasteve- Just bring a helmut like mentioned, 20bucks to run 10 to watch. That's it and try to get there around 3:30pm to get at least 3 runs in, lately its been packed. I wish we could get some more FI'd Z's out there. Theres at least 6 or 7 TT's that haven't gone to one of these Wed night drags.
And Eric, do a burnout to get into those 12's. Walt and Shaun keep doing watch yal been doing, you guys are gettin quick...
Alvin, watchout talking all that trash, oh everyone please line up in the same lanes. We are not cannibals, we don't kill our kind....hahahhh

Last night rocked! Here are some pics and videos thanks to my brother Clark, I think he got almost everyone!

Vid Clips:

I know Tristen and Chad have some great videos too
Congrats to Walt, Furkhan and Eric for making it past the first elimination in the brackets!
I got eliminated in the first round, oh well I guess there's a first for everything! I am happy that I ran my fastest time at infineon though.
Note to self: If you are rapidly catching up to your opponent this is a good thing. Do NOT let off!
We had a great turnout and I'm sure Sean would have won at least another trophy if he showed up on time
I think we got 3 practice runs in and there wasn't much of a crowd.
Steve Faustina also was back in action with his TT350z roadster.
Seeing Chad's G35TT in action and all of the roll-ons was a blast. Highlight had to be Rob Vs Bruce in their "This is my boss from Infineon and we need to run 11s so can we go another time please" shootout. The video clip tells all, F' yo couch Bruce!
Good times can't wait till Sept. 14!

Walt, what was your fastest time? My 2nd run at 14.28s ended up being my best...it felt like as the temperatures dropped, I wasn't getting the same launch traction which lowered my times-anyone else expeirecne this as well?
(From what I've heard, doing a burn out to raise tire temperatures on stock tires won't help that much with traction...the main advantage would be to clean the tire of any debris)
*I had totaly forgotten the adrenaline rush from drag racing...it was so much fun!

If anyone else has points, let me know. Should I list all the participants (even those w/o points)?
thanks!
