I just stopped by Serramonte Nissan here in Daly City to get my front Nissan warranty alignment done and the new front tires ordered. As I was walking around the showroom I noticed the tail lights on a black 350Z...they were the LED lights--I want those so bad...at least as soon as someone can prove that they physically fit on the older model brackets and mounts!!! But if you wanna check out the new 2006 in person, there's a black manual Coupe for $33,000 after MSRP that you can look at over in the Serramonte Nissan, Daly City show room.

Yeah, I always deal with Erwin as well. I agree on the neutral comment. He is friendly and acts like he is totally going to help you, but then he doesn't always come through.
I think part of the problem is that his manager is a TOTAL A$$HOLE. He has been SO rude to me, I couldn't believe it.
My main issue with them is that they always claim they can't reproduce the problem. I had the "drifting to the right" problem which has a TSB. They kept the car all day and said the car was fine. The TSB says they have you drive the car for more than 7 seconds at 60mph. When I got the car back, the odometer showed they had never driven the car! I was REALLY pissed and let them know about it. Ended up forcing them to take a ride in the car with me and they finally agreed to fixing it, which they did.

I'm really going to have to cross my fingers about Erwin haha! Those tires are still not in yet, do you guys think I can just go to another dealership instead? I was contemplating the Redwood City Nissan instead.

to be honest, I was more concerned about getting the alignment done...what if Erwin gets me new tires and doesnt even DO the alignment...i'll dicover it AFTER the october warranty extension if the roar comes back with new tires...lame. Oh check this out too, Erwin told me that he wasnt sure if manufacturer covered the tires because mine were not OEM...wtf? They are stock Potenza RE040 225/45R18 from the dealer on stock 18" wheels all around haha...what a quack...I hope it works out...
Print out the latest Tire Feathering TSB and then make sure they give you a printout of your alignment. There are specific toe settings they must achieve. They MUST give you a printout, or you will, indeed, have no idea if they did it. To avoid an argument, I would tell them when you drop off the car that you will be expecting one.
The TSB also clearly states that the front tires must be at 35psi COLD to avoid feathering. Erwin and the technician had no clue and lowered my tires to 32psi.
And by the way, the service manager also tried telling me they would not do the Drifting to The Right tsb because I had "after market" tires. I told him to show me where it states I can only use RE40's and that shut him up.
