I'm not sold on this mod yet (Copper Iso Thermal plenum spacer). Thursday night I'm going down to the meet at Starbucks so I'm going to put a thermocouple with insulation on the top of the plenum to see how hot it gets. Maybe after that I'll want one.
Thanks for the info!

I just installed all of this stuff on my car today along with the CCV versus the copper TB upgrade and after 30-40 minutes of driving, the plenum was luke warm to the touch and the TB as ice cold!!!!

If you don't want to worry about opening and closing the CCV, not that we get extreme cold here, then get the thermal copper one. I'm up in the air about the whole thermal upgrade.
Well, if I am understanding the CCV correctly ... for our climate, we would just want to CLOSE the valve and forget it.
The coolant runs through the throttle body to keep it warm, so it won't stick during freezing temps, correct? So if we are rarely below freezing, we wouldn't need to keep that TB warm (thus transfering heat to the plenum, etc...)
It would be the same thing as doing a coolant BYPASS mod, correct?
