Default 11/27/05 Mini Hooter's meet (Sunday)

Mini Hooter's meet this upcoming Sunday. I know there is a lot of people out of town, but for those that are still around and want to hang out with the fellow Z owners on Sunday for lunch and/or a drive afterwards, sign up here.

Note: we might have Andy from Performance Nissan joining us. So if you have any question for him, this will be a good time to come. Since I don't expect a big turnout, I won't be making reservations. We'll go stand in line for first come first serve.

Date: Sunday 11/27/05
Time: 11:30am
Location: Hooters of Dublin
7944 Dublin Boulevard Dublin,CA 94568
829-9468, fax 829-0468

Didn't know they had a Hooters in Dublin! Thought the only one they had was in SF in the Bay Area. Signing up as a maybe.

traffic shouldn't be too bad that early in the day. I'm planning on doing a reverse hamilton run after eating for those that are interested. Just to stay away from major freeways

Hey sorry I couldnt make it guys. I ended up leaving around 8am to avoid the traffic from the holiday weekend. My friends were telling me that traffic gets pretty bad and they were right, at one point on the 5, 10 miles took about 2 hours. Took me 7 hours to get home. Cant wait until I come back though!

There's nothing worse than sitting in traffic in the middle of nowhere. I hate 5. We'll catch up with you next time Andy, it'll be fun.

it's all good Andy, we'll catch up next time.
For those that didn't make it, we end up doing the reverse route livermore to hamilton. I would say it was a lot more challenging than the from hamilton to livermore. Most of the turns becomes off camber off the hill tight turns. But it was fun nevertheless. Got to try that again. We also discussed reviving the ring by the bay with a twist. Try to hit all the favorite twisties (Mt. Hamilton, hwy 35, hwy 9, Mt. Diablo, Calaveras, etc.) on a single run "after hours". We'll see how that pan out.

Yeah, that first portion was tough. Tight off-camber turns with no guardrail.

Pray you don't f*ck up, otherwise you're over the cliff!
