Default Whats a good inexpensive place to get tires mounted?

I'm not sure how much it generally costs, but I recently spent $60 to get two 255/45/17 tires mounted on my car. I didn't buy the tires from the place, but I know one of my old friends had his done for around $50 for all 4 tires, but I have lost contact with him. Either near San Jose area, or Modesto area. TIA.

I bring my wheels to Calderon Tires on Monterey Rd, they do it for like 7-10 bucks a wheel, but then again, those are my stock wheels. Don't know if I trust them with aftermarket rims... you can just tell them to be careful...

Calderon on Monterey road does it fast and cheap ($50 to remove the wheels from your car, pull off the old tires, slap on the new tires and put them back on your car [balanced as well] ).

However, I agree with hybrid90...you may or may not want to trust them w/ nicer wheels...they work FAST.

I like Exact Motorsports in Milpitas. I believe it costs a little more, but they do good work. I can refer you to my buddy John over there if you like.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm still shopping for a new set of rims/tires. Once I get them though, I will take a look into these places. Maybe just drive in and watch how much care the mechanics take of the rims.

Go here and type in your zip. It'll give you many choices and prices. I second not trusting the average wheel shop with aftermarkets. I use AutoRnD in milpitas.

I've heard good things about auto innovations in milipitas. AutoRnD is cool too.
