Default Attack of the Xmas tree

On my way down to Santa Rosa to exchange something and this F'ng big Xmas tree was laying across Hwy 101 in the fast lane. Hit it doing 75. Absolutely no time to react. It looked brown and dead and it was just.....there in an the blink of an eye. I'm so PO'd

All I can say is THANK YOU clear bra. There could have been major paint damage to the whole front end and hood as there are marks about a foot up the hood. I think all I'll need is a new grill, lower lip and the aero strip. Will look under the car tomorrow in the daylight.

There was another car about 300 yds back and I could see that car jump up as they hit it. Lame a$$ people and their crap not tied down.

I feel your pain. About a year ago, I smoked a tumbleweed while doing 80 (the tumbleweed was doing about 25) on I40 west of Amarillo. A TUMBLEWEED!!

What are the odds! Guess I'll buy new if I can't find a used one soon. Dan's emblem hole is filled in. I would like to keep my Z emblem. What would be nice is if Dan and I could get ours painted together, might cut our cost.

Damn!? Sorry to hear that Bill but I'm glad you came out alright & your car only sustained damage to your front bumper (could've been worse). Perhaps it's a good time to upgrade to a new bumper like this beauty for the New Year

The car handled the hurdle really well so it was just the initial impact that did the damage.

Nah, I'm not into body mods but if I was

Did you get a chance to check the underside? Hopefully the bumper was the only thing that was damaged.

So far all I can see is that the undertray has been ripped by 2 holes right in front. Other then that all looked OK. I think once it was under the car it just rolled along until the rear ran over it. Didn't see any branches etc. stuck under there. I'll jack it up this weekend and take a good look as well as remove some stuff and check the backside of the bumper.
