hey i may have someone for you. acustomer of mine from socal, with a g35 coupe is looking to upgrade his suspension. the main issue is, he has 20 inch wheels, so baiscally the end result he wants is a 80 percent competant daily driver that corners well, and 20 percent occassaional track car for fun.
he is wondering what hte best for hte money set up would be for him?
let me know...
he is debaying between struts and put on Z springs, and sway bars
or sway bars and a full blown tein coil over...

It's really important to fire back these two question's at your customer's when they ask the above. What drop range (min and max) do you want? And, what does staying within oem alignment specs mean to you? This makes them think and allow's you to explain the whole ball of wax and avoids the phone call months latter, "hey why do I need new tires, you never told me this might happen".
D-specs, RSR 350Z springs, Stillen sway's. Providing he's ok with a 1.2" drop and being at the raged edge of 350Z alignment specs. Getting the Tokico 350Z shock and spring setup would work, but they have a 1.7" drop for him, not sure if he want's to go that low. Coilovers HKS RS IMO would be perfect. Tein CS might suit his needs, though they might be a tad soft feeling for the20% track car fun part. Flex is not suited for his needs, not unless he's willing to wait out the long boat ride to get the softer JDM setup by boat.
anotheraznguy, If you could answer a question for me, when you install lowering springs and shocks on the rear do you remove the rubber piece that sits in the bottom bucket? Thanks.
