Question Any good drive through Car Wash (Hayward area)?

In between personal washes, I like to drive through the car wash. Anyone know of any cheap drive through car washes in/around Hayward? I've only tried 2 (both with the last car's smaller 17" wheels) and they dragged on my lower gfx panels. So there's no way the Z will make it through. I'm not looking for anything fancy. Just something that won't damage hte paint and kncoks some of the dust off the exterior and cleans the brake dust off the rims.

Think it's bad to go through the drive-through wash?

I think this is a joke ... right?

If you can't get the effort up yourself pay someone to do a hand wash.

Should be fine if it's brushless, no? Just won't be as clean as a handwash....

Personally, I don't have time to wash the car mid-week. But I like itlooking clean 24/7. This can get pricey.....

i guess i just wouldn't drive through a car wash thats all. its just me tho. i rather drive around with a dirty car and clean it myself to avoid scratches/swirls. than to drive an always semi-clean car coved in scratches and swirls.

I understand the logic. I'm already geting scratches anyway while driving it (I have never seen paint as fragile as this before). May as well be clean, too .

Yeah, it's in a priv garage at home and underground parking at work. I use the Cal duster for the most part. But dust + moisture does lead to more than that can handle. And dust shows up on black easily (best looking color when clean IMHO and worst looking when dirty).

I have to admit, i go through the car wash.... really don't have a choice since I don't have a garage/driveway here in SF!

BUT...

it's a touchless "laser" wash. no brushes, just pressurized water to loosen up the dirt and rinse off the soap. It's on Hickey off 280 in Daly City. It doesn't do a great job but good enough.

I was hesitant at first but I saw a guy in a new 911 go through so I gave it a try....

I would NEVER take it through the brushes at a regular car wash!

^ Hahaha. I know that place. It's at a Chevron isn't it? It's pretty close to my GF's house. I agree that it's not perfect at all but definitely something to quickly rinse off your car without the fear of damaging your paint from ones that use brushes. The "laser experience"...LOL.

That's what I was referring to, I had to do it once myself. There's a brushless laser wash in Richmond. No swirls other than the ones I [unintentionally] put on it myself

Country club car wash. All hand-washed drive through. Very good work and excellent detailing if you pay for it.
