Can anyone give me a heads up on what the weather is like in San Simeon this time of the year? Am I going to be shivering with the ocean breeze or is it going to be blazing outside? I'm new to Cali and have never been farther south than San Jose. Thanks..Ralph

Person I talked to on the phone seemed excited about the menu but said she wondered why it mentioned deli food on the web site.

If you are interested in a tour of the castle, they have them running all day but it is recommended you order your tickets early as they have no guarantee they will be available at the door. Check the link above for times and tour information.

What to bring:

$40.00 minimum pocket change (in case credit card scanners are down)
Full tank of gas, Shell station in parking lot at the San Jose meet point
FRS radio (if you have one) Channel 7 sub 0
Sun block
Bottled water
Jacket

What's going on:

This event is a meeting of Northern and Southern California Z and G owners. It is planned as a one day event but feel free to plan the remainder of the weekend as you wish. Most are driving home around 5:00 PM but others are staying over night to explore the central coast on Sunday on they're own.

This is not a speed event, please drive responsibly.

So far we have some 35 cars From So Cal coming up to meet with you guys

You need to pick a North Cal leader with a cell phone so we can coordinate arrival and enroute progress of the groups.

can't wait to meet you guys from the NorCal. The only person I have met is Chris ( Hypersprite ) here at the Motorsports Z weekend. I was also wondering if we should get those " hello my name is " tags so we can identify each other up there. I would hate to be right next to someone and not even know who I'm talking too.........

Guys, I never even considered this, but how big is the parking lot at Hearst Castle? We have about 50 cars so far among NorCal/SoCal, so even if 60% show up, we want a spot where we can park all our cars together. Is the Hearst Castle parking lot big enought to accommodate us all? Last time I went there was when I was like 9 or 10 so I can't remember.
