only thing I see fishy is that dealer cost from Nissan USA on that exhaust is alot more than $600 ( I am talking the price the dealer pays Nissan USA for the part)

I have a radiator cap and oil cap form him and they are for real. I have seen the exhaust and he shipped the same way (2nd day) even though the guy who bought the exhaust didn't ask for that. The exhaust was real. I have a printing background so I would notice any attempt to look like Nismo that was a knock off. (talking about the packaging etc.) The quality of the welds etc was first rate. it was real.

I'm not doubting they are real, just the means by which they were acquired seems "odd". There obviously a story to how he can sell a product below what the Nissan dealers pay Nissan for it. Maybe he is selling at a loss just to recoup cash; who know's.

For Vendor, they always wonder how can he does it.

For us, we don't give it a crap. As long as they are authentic, it is all good. In addition, none of us know exactly how much nissan dealer pay for it. I still believe the mark up is 2x or 3x. So MSRP $1200, the real cost only around $400. If he sell for $600, still make $200 profit.

way way off base there bubble... no nissan part has a 200-300% mark up.

perfect example is the tail o6 tail lights. the dealership pays $149.30 each for the tail lights they list nowhere near the 200-300% markup you are thinking....
06 headlights the dealer owns for 501 each again nowhere near 200-300% mark up.... you now have cost. now just look up your list pricing and then you got your answer as to how much markup is in a nissan part.

I wonder if this is the same guy I bought my NISMO headers from....paid 600 for them and they were the real deal. Came with all same paperwork, boxing as my suspension, spoiler, etc...all authentic stuff. I called him and everything...very busy guy. Anyway, if you're buying on ebay...do so at your own risk and do your homework first.

i just pick up my 06 tail light at the dealer for $300. Got hook up from the service manager. Let say if they sell for $501 like you say, it is nearly 2x the cost isn't ? lolz

try reading my post and paying attention a little better. tail lights dont sell for 501....

but even if they did its still nowhere near 2x you would still need 100 more dollars....

now if you read my post before a little more carefully you will see i said the dealer owns the headlights for 501 dollars. not tail lights...

i said the tails lights the dealership ownes for 149 each. that was all i stated. for them to be marked up 200-300% like you say that would mean the tail lights would have to retail for 300-450 dollars each..

and i still dont think the dealership sold you tail lights for their cost. lets see the reciept

lolz...you're just a small fish at the dealer; therefore you can't made that decision. Oh, you need to read my reply more carefully too. lolz..i said Got hook up from the service manager

btw, $501 for head light? the dealer sell $1200 for it. Isn't that more than 2x mark up this time? thanks for the inside info. I'll ask my guy and buy that one too. hahaha
