yes they were brand new, came in nissan box and everything. i got these in Nov. 2005, when nissan was having packaging issues.

 

unbelievable pricing.

ultimate z made 84 cents selling the lights if they were new....lol

well i have the receipt up there, and i guess i can't prove they are new anymore being that they've been on my z for the past 6 months or so.

If you had a good experience with him that's fine. All I'm asking is that you don't link his auctions or screen name. It's my job to protect the advertising investment of our sponsors. If you were one of them you'd expect the same. I didn't send you a PM because 1) it had already been stated and 2) PM's usually reflect a warning, which was not the case. No hard feelings, I'm just doing my job.

 

No hard feelings. Help me understand, though, what we can or cannot link to. If I have a good experience at a dealership can I not post the name since John and PN are a sponsor here. The only dealership name that can be mentioned is Johns or PN?

That's why I ask, everything has always been so d@mn vague at this site. It seems it's always been up to the opinion of the current moderator as to what can or cannot be said/done.

For instance many people are commenting on their purchase from "insert random Nissan dealer name here", but the way I would understand failsafe's comments, that wouldn't be allowed, only John@Victory or Performance Nissan. I mean there's a thread on the first page about warranty work and has the dealerships name in the thread title, is that allowed????

If you have a good experience with a dealer or vendor that's fine. You can say you had a good experience with xxxx dealer. The problem comes when you actively promote and/or advertise for a vendor or dealer who is not a site sponsor. This includes linking to auctions, websites, etc.

In this case this ebay guy has a pretty bad reputation with the mods and admin and some of the other vendors on this board. Buy his stuff all you want but please don't promote him on this forum.

If you're in question about whether or not something is over the line then ask a mod or don't post it.
