Default Falore Nissan In Sunnyvale, Ca.

Just got my car back from Falore Nissan in Sunnyvale. And wanted to let you Nor-Cal guys/girls know that they did a great job with the two problems I had with my Z.

1. Fuel tank difficult to fill and can not get a full tank reading.
2. Door window glass does not drop when opening Door.

Both items where done under warranty and I just had to pay the $50 deductable. And they are Mod friendly too.

Why the $50 deductible? Isn't warranty work suppose to be free ..

I couldn't get a full tank when filling up gas. The shutter valve kept on shutting the gas pump off. Here is a link from Nissan's bulletin on this matter: http://www.nissanhelp.com/Ownership/.../NTB05-048.htm

The fuel gauge reads empty early on most Zs. I have driven 80 miles past empty in an emergency and then been able to put 18 gallons in but most of the time I fill at empty and only get 15 in.

The fillup problem will keep you from putting it in and it is reflected in the gauge also showing you are not full yet. I have this on some pumps but not the ones I normally use so I never did anything about it.

Your car is always on empty and I don't think you have ever run out of gas ....have you?

There are tons of posts on this is if you check the search feature. it seems more like the guages say empty when you are not rather than the tank is not really full.

Sean, I'm going to try to get to Infineon this next Weds.
