Just about fed up with the crappy service i've been getting at Serramonte Nissan. They were actually good for the first 2 years I bought my car, but I don't know what's going on over there now. Some of the customers and I in the waiting room were also talking about the crappy service they're been getting. I wouldn't recommend going to Serramonte Nissan for any warranty repairs or anything of that nature. Even as simple as the window grease fix. They're all a bunch of BS'ers, laggers, and idiots. Just to name names in case you ever go there, Erwin and Fillipe are the usual service advisors. And don't even get me started with their "convenient shuttle service". So i'm looking for another dealership around the SF/Daly City area. If anyone can recommend one, that would be great.

i have always taken my car to serramonte nissan and have had good experiences. however, i haven't been there in a while now, and now i'm a lil reluctant to let them do my warranty work. this is the 3rd time i've heard of complaints regarding serramonte.
but the other choices along the peninsula aren't very good. there's daland nissan in millbrae and boardwalk nissan in redwood city both of which have a worse reputation.

doh! I was hoping Daland would be cool. but, yeah I just had my recall for the fuel hose done and they replaced a clutch switch because my car wouldn't start. So many complaints about Serramonte Nissan these days, its just not worth anyone's time to go there. I keep telling myself "maybe it'll be different next time"... but it never is.
I've only taken my Z there for it's first service, and my experiance was pretty bad. About 2 weeks ago, I make an appointment for 7am (as soon as they open). I get there, they don't let me and the other people in the door until like 7:10. Not a big deal. So I'm 2nd in line, the rep (dont remember his name) tells me it will take up to an hour, tops. I go and sit in the waiting area and watch tv for awhile. 2 hours roll by and finally my car pulls out front. So instead of giving me my paperwork and keys so I can pay the bill. They continue to check people/cars in. It's now 9 o'clock. 2 hours after I got there. I walk up to the counter and the guy tells me it will be 5 more minutes. Which turned into another 45 minutes. So, my "1 hour tops"
turned into a 3 hour wait for a simple service. I didn't make a stink out of it at the time. Mainly because I knew I'd have to have some warranty work in the near future (which I do), and I'd like to stay on their good side, even if it means sucking it up and not *****ing at them for their poor customer service.
I guess I'm in the same boat as you guys. I don't really have a better option than Serramonte Nissan. yay...
