Only being a month away. This event is going to be bigger and better than last year's event. We're at a different location this time with more space available and there should be no sign of rain this year, ITS JULY.

The dealership owner has dropped some cash on the table for the top winners.
Currently we have got a 100 car limit but depending on the interest level and how fast it fills up we might be able to get more spaces.

This show is designed for the enthusiast. If you have a fully sponsored car, it will not be elgible for prizes. Meaning, if someone besides the owner of the car paid for all to almost all the mods then that would mean you're sponsored. Having a minor discount at a shop or few shops is not deemed a true sponsorship, you will qualify for the prizes.

Also there is talk to having some special guests in attendance but nothing is in concrete as of yet. I'll keep you informed whether this is a go or not.

how far up from L.A is Elk Grove?

 

about 6-7 hours.

 

I live close by and will probably stop by to check it out. Especially for some free food. Have you had any aftermarket vendors confirm? What types of vendors were contacted? What type of turn-out did you have last year?

 

Z car garage, Motorsports dynamics, Octane motorsports. But the parts dept at Nissan is confirmed to have a booth, as well as XM radio.

Its been slow going to get confirmation.

those first three aren't confirmed perse. just seem more hopeful.. I will know more in the next week or two. once we get over the holiday weekend.

The excitement is building. Be sure to tell everyone to get in the show. Trust me it'll be much better to show with a stock car and have a nice spot than to park in the street. Plus they'll be more benefits to show than not to. Talk is raffle is for participants only.

Where is everyone? Surprisingly low response from most of the Nissan Community. WhY? From 150 cars at Freakmont two months ago and now nearly nothing?

 

Most of them were 300Z. There were only 10 350Z at Freakmont.

So how do we get our money back now that the show is canceled?

 

It is not cancelled indefinately. The date has been moved back to September. Actual day is still tentative as the day we just decided on is the same day as HIN. Wasn't aware of that when we were meeting.

I will be emailing all registered people who have paid giving them the option to stay regisitered or be refunded. No worries. I am not cutting and running.

 

Cool, it really sucks this isnt going to happen. I dont understand why there wasnt much intrest. Im parting my car so september is no good for me.
