Default Help! Any good dealer for oil change???

anyone know a good and trusty place for a oil change in the east bay??? i took my car to a local dealer... was considering making an appointment for the oil change... the service guy kept STARING at my car like he has never seen one before...(right, he is working on my Zzzz... ) went inside the dealer to talk to the sales guy about the BOSS stereo... they look at me as if I was from another planet.... finally ONE guy knows about the boss TSB... I guess i am not going there for any services....

Usually only the Service Mgr. and techs know about the TSB's. I just had my Bose run through the TSB test and the amp is now on order. The Service writer was clueless.

FYI, Bose is spelled Bose.

Can't help you about good dealers in your area since I'm way north.

That's a scary thought...worse then the dealer in my opinion. To do a proper oil change you need to remove the belly pan (10 bolts & plastic clip if I remember). What are the chances they won't loose one or two? They probably wouldn't even have the right filter so you're right in taking your own parts. Good luck!

Bose amp replaced today. Sounds much better. Noticed though that the volume level needs to be higher then before.

congrat on the new amp! it's not that bad now...
Scheduled oil change at the Fremont Nissan dealer! They seems like a bunch of real nice folks! Got good tip from them on nose mask installation... good deal for accessories... Paul and Ninos was very helpful!!
If you r in the east bay... ck them out!!

I'm trying myself to find a good place that I can do it my self. My apartement manager just made me sign the new apt policy saying no mechanical work on site. My friend just moved out of his house, so I cant go there, not sure what I am gonna do, maybe the parking garage at work on the weekend......

I live in Oakland but work in San Rafael. The NIssan dealer there had several 350's in service when I visited, plus they had a few 95ish 300ZXs too. Very clean work area and they even hook you up with a free first oil change just for being a new customer. It's North Bay but if you are ever out there it might pay to make an appt.
